Getting to know it

What is BadgeForce?

BadgeForce is a corporate recognition and rewards platform built by Doğuş Teknoloji. It turns everyday contributions (completed tasks, approved certificates, kudos from managers and teammates) into XP and rewards as they happen. It consists of an iOS and Android app and a web-based HR admin panel.

What does an employee recognition platform do?

It makes people's work visible and recognised without waiting for month-end. Everyone sees who achieved what in an internal feed, so recognition doesn't get lost in an inbox. The reward budget is managed so that who received what, and why, is on record.

Is BadgeForce a gamification platform?

It uses gamification mechanics: XP, badges, levels, seasons and leaderboards. But the goal isn't a game; every achievement is tied to real work and goes through a defined approval flow. The interface has a corporate tone.

Does it replace our bonus scheme or performance reviews?

No. BadgeForce is not a goal-setting, periodic review or 360-degree feedback tool. A bonus rewards the result at the end of a period; BadgeForce makes the daily behaviour behind that result visible. It works alongside your existing bonus and review process.

Which companies is BadgeForce for?

Companies that want everyday effort to be seen and recognised faster. The clearest benefit is in field, branch and sales teams, where behaviours that lead to results, such as meetings, training and helping a teammate, can be rewarded. Head-office teams use the badge, attribute and kudos modules.

How it works

What is the difference between XP and gold?

XP is never spent; it sets a person's level and their place on the leaderboard. Gold is spendable and used in the reward market. XP converts to gold at a rate HR sets each season: Gold = XP × rate ÷ 100.

What is a season, and why does XP reset?

A season is a period set by HR, usually 3–6 or 12 months. Season XP resets at the end, so everyone starts each period equal and a new joiner is in the race from day one. Yearly and all-time boards are kept separately.

How are rewards given, and is extra budget needed?

No extra budget is needed. You move the gift and reward budget you already spend into the reward market. Employees request rewards with the gold they have earned; once approved the reward is given, and if declined the gold is refunded.

What do managers do in BadgeForce?

Managers use the mobile app to give kudos points or kudos badges, and to approve their team's badge and task requests. HR sets how much each position level can give through quotas.

Is the leaderboard fair?

Several tools keep it fair: season XP resets every period, separate leaderboards can be set up by department, position or custom group, and HR sets managers' kudos quotas. Every achievement goes through approval.

Setup and use

How is it set up, and how much work is it for IT?

Employees are imported from Excel in bulk or synced with Azure AD / LDAP. HR defines seasons, XP sources, badges, tasks and approval flows in the web admin panel; no development is needed.

Which devices does it run on?

The employee and manager app runs on iOS and Android and is available on the App Store and Google Play. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to the work email. The HR admin panel runs in a web browser, in Turkish and English.

Which reports are available?

Achievement, badge, attribute, task, reward and kudos reports, plus a general usage report. All reports export to Excel.

How do we get started?

With a pilot limited to one unit or region. We agree on what you want to recognise, set it up with your rules and review the results together. Demo requests go through the Doğuş Teknoloji product page.
